Hi. Here are some thoughts regarding these two devices: 1. Book Port plays books from RFB&D, Book Courier does not.
2. Bok Port is a little more complicated. On the flip side, Book Port has capabilities to process text that Courier does not have. 3. Book Port is well supported by American Printing House and features of use to the blind are incorporated fairly quickly. Book Courier does not have this focus. 4. I believe book Port has capabilities for playing podcasts and other unindexed mp3 files that Courier does not have. I don't believe Courier has any facility for speeding up playback of sound files. 5. the designers of Book Courier have formatted a couple versions of the Bible for easy playback in the unit. These are apparently to Courier users and not to Book Port users. I love my Book Port.
