Mine was off as well, but enabling it still results in the odd sounds 
popping up in certain songs. It doesn't occur on all discs, and even on the 
cds where it does happen, it only seems to happen on certain tracks, but I 
still can't seem to get rid of it. I may have to try burning to an mp3 or 
smaller WMA format. I'll keep you all up to date if there are any 
developments.
