CDRwin sounds like exactly the burner that I'm looking for. Unfortunately the link to their site and to any product related download site brings you to a dead link. Hopefully it's just a temporary website issue.
Actually, I've had some success with Nero, but have experienced problems that needed to be worked out on every computer where I have loaded it. This time, opening one portion of the software package silenced speech. I simply decided that enough was enough. So I'll try a few things and see what works.
