Geoff Eden VOICEPRINT CANADA, the not-for-profit division of The National Broadcast Reading Service Inc. (NBRS), a registered charity, serves 4.5 million blind, vision- and print-restricted Canadians 24/7/365. VoicePrint Canada is the world's largest reading service in terms of homes accessed. The NBRS team includes a Board of Directors, paid staff and more than 700 volunteers across the country and a growing membership base, now exceeding 1,000. The position available is at the Company's Head Office in Toronto and reports to the Program Manager. Role - To produce VoicePrint programs, working closely with the volunteers - Prepare the US Update and International Report - Prepare regional and weekend programs for on air play Key Responsibilities In concert with the VoicePrint production/programming team . Be familiar with all elements of VoicePrint Canada programming. . Understand how to operate the relevant technical equipment. . Ensure recording schedules and deadlines are met. . Foster and maintain good relationships with volunteers and fellow employees; . Upload program segments to Audio archive on the VoicePrint Canada web site . Compile news and feature material for broadcast .
