Because if DVD Shrink is not updated it will not be able to decrypt some
of the newer DVDs. That is the only reason why DVD Shrink will lose
popularity if it is not kept up to date by the author. I'm not talking
about features here. I'm talking about decrypting newer DVD media which
comes out like some of 2006 release movies. Try the movie Stealth which
was released in 2005. You cannot decrypt that and shrink it with DVD
Shrink yet you can decrypt it fine with AnyDVD.
