hi I finally got it working. I agree it's quite featured. It could be just how it's configured by default and I haven't figured out how to change it yet. A question, when you do the test of the voice, does it sound exactly like jaws? because it doesn't on mine. something in the trebble sounds different as if it's at a different hz rate. If this doesn't happen to you, it explains why my speech has a viavoice like sound. I'll try it again with a smaller book and see how it goes. i think my machine is fairly fast, it's certainly not slow. brandon
