Just one comment that I forgot the other day. If you are going to check-out SoundForge I would strongly suggest testing the full version. I sincerely think that Goldwave is better than SoundForge's Studio or Express version. Now, some may disagree with that, but the Goldwave feature set has a lot more to offer than the low-end SoundForge.
