Have you tried entering audio hq via control pannal? also you don't have to do your install from the startup screen when you put the disk in. go to windows explorer, open the cd open the audio folder open english You may see a winXP folder look for settings once the settings wizard starts you will get the usual screens One will look odd and appear as numbers. tab to the second option and press enter this usually sets you in custom mode here you can determine what is installed.

At the time of install, the Audio HQ worked fine. I've had a lot going on so hadn't played with it again since early April, but when I finally got around to that last night, it wouldn't work. When I click on it in the start menu I get the program open sound but find myself on the start button with no audio HQ. I can't imagine what the problem is. This machine also has Window-eyes on it and had no luck using it either. I dread doing a reinstall if necessary because that is so tricky with speech, but will do whatever would fix the problem. The Creative launcher plays havoc with both screen reader programs and until I stop it from loading at startup, have no speech so have to memorize how to get it out of there. Is this a hopeless problem? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
