Hi Brandon. Those of us that have used both MP3 and WMA exhaustively would definitely disagree with this statement. MP3 is an ancient technology that is widespread because of it's maturity and because of it's compatibility - not for it's quality.
I'd suggest you do some experimentation and see for yourself how good WMA is compared to MP3. Regards.
