Hi Linda.

I use windows media player to rip all of my music and then load it into a
great music management program called Audigen. Audigen is supplied by a
company called Red Chair Software and costs a measly $15. For that you get
a completely accessible interface and the ability to browse your collection
by artist, album, track or genre as well as being able to search, create
playlists, edit ID3 tags and produce reports in a variety of formats.

As far as portable players are concerned, I have a Creative Zen 20GB player
with an inline remote control to make it a little easier to operate. The
menus don't wrap on this player, you can have it click for each menu item
and, if you've got a good memory, navigate your music by artist, album or
track. Putting music on the player is a doddle as it's just a windows
explorer looking interface where you can use copy and paste to add music to
your player.

Regards.

Kevin
