Well, I just installed it on one of my computers this morning, and there is a
serious problem with registering as a new user. The registration requires
typing in of a security code, and that security code is not accessible with
speech access as they display it in graphics. The only way to get signed up
with the service is to have a sighted person look at the screen and give you
the security code. That means that a blind user is basicly excluded from even
registering without the help of a sighted person. Once in the program I did
not find it to be particularly accessible either.

Subject: The Gismo Project

: Hi all! I just received something about a type of internet telephone called
the Gismo Project. It sounds like this is in competition with Skype. What do
you all think of this program?
