I know it sounds like that but you don't. The player's internal memory
appears as one drive and if you get a mc card it appears as another.

Thanks for the responses folks. I did find info on the Motorola players.
If I can find one of the m25 units for a good price, I may try one. One
thing that was not mentioned on the Motorola site was whether it appeared as
another drive in Windows Explorer when plugged into USB. It sounded like
you had to use their own software to transfer files to the device. Although
I know you have to use Windows Media Player to transfer the protected WMA
files from NetLibrary, I am wondering if the device supports Windows
Explorer as well.

I don't know how useful this will be but I found this on sale at a best buy
store. If you go to www.motorola.com you should be able to find info on
their mp3 players. As far as ff and rw in files goes there's no audio
feedback, so I just had to get used to the time I held the joystick in the
ff or rw position. There's a bookmark feature for multiple bookmarks but if
all you want the player to do is remember where you left off in a file it
does that without you doing anything. It is audible ready, but I only use
it for netlibrary or overdrive audio books.

Tim,

Do you have a link for more info on this Motorola unit?

Can you rewind and fast forward through a large NetLibrary book with no
issues?

Also, what did you mean by "if you have a good memory you can bookmark more
than one file.". Appreciate the info.

No you don't. I bought a Motorola M25 for $29 that works great with the net
library books as long as it stops before the battery runs completely down.
If you have a good memory you can bookmark more than 1 file.

Hi, Rick! Sorry for my delayed response to your post. At the moment, I
don't know of any good accessible player that will bookmark your net library
books. I'm not saying there isn't something, but I haven't found it yet.
Maybe some IRiver product might do it? I don't know. I've been going for
the cheap stuff
for folks who don't have much money but want to access these Net Library
books. I think you have to go to high-end players to get that bookmarking
capability. Really annoying, I know.
