Bruce, are the gaps actually a part of the tracks themselves or is it just that the CD was created with the default 2 second gaps between tracks. If the gaps are not a part of each individual track, then I would rip each track to individual .wav files and then set the gap that the burner places between each song at 0 seconds when reburning. I've done this when transferring live vinyl and it works seamlessly. You can do this with Easy CDDA Extractor, Nero and probably a bunch of others.
