Sunshine, Are you looking for a speaker system for your pc or for a home theater setup? Or maybe both? How much are you looking to spend? Home theater speaker setups can go as high as thousands of dollars. There are also some very good pc speaker setups that can rival the sound of some moderate priced home audio setups.
For my pc, I personally have a set of Logitech z5500 speakers. They are 5.1 and sound terrific. They are THX certified and can really punch a mean wallop on stuff like DVD movies.
