I have the scripts for Adobe Audition, and am trying to figure out in the waveform view of Audition how to go about editting. I know about setting my start and finnish markers with left and right bracket, then I can add effects, or hit the delete key to crop, etc, however, how do I actually move the markers around once they are dropped. Is it the same as in GoldWave, shift left and right for the beginning and control shift left and right for the end? Lastly, I am trying to record an arrangement of me playing and singing the Christmas song Away in a Manger. What i wanna do, is have the first verse, have no music behind it. I've already recorded the instrumentation file that will be accompinying me, But, If I insert it into track one, remember, that I want the first verse to be just me singing with no backing. Is there an easy way to do this as I've found that if I record on say, track one, my first verse then in the multi-track view, I hit control+shift+end, to go to the end of that, then go to track two and insert the music track, the minute i hit control+space to start recording there at the end, I find that my vocal track of the first verse collides with the beginning of the music track. Basicly the effect i am trying to get is:
The Little Lord Jesus, asleep on the hay, 2, 3, 1, 2, the then the music come in, on the word cattle. If anyone knows how to do this, let me know. O, sure, I deffinently could fix it and edit it with GoldWave to sound correct, but that seems a little unnecessary, I would think that Audition *should* offer a way to do this. Again, as I said, I am in deed using the scripts. Thanks. Chris. _______________________________________________ PC-Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] This list is a service of MosenExplosion.com.
