times 8 Bits per Byte equals 536,870,912 Bits
Now a 128KBPS compressed file like an MP3 plays at the rate of 128
thousand bits per second. So just divide your total number of Bits by the
Bit rate, in this case, 128,000 Bits per Second to see how many seconds you
can record at 128KBPS on your 64 Megabyte card. In this case you can record
for 536,870,912 Bits divided by 128,000 Bits per Second equals
4194.304 Seconds or 69.905 Minutes or 1.165 Hours.
.165 Hours equals .165 Hours times 60 Minutes per Hour equals 9.9
Minutes.
Wave files are different but a CD quality Wave file can be treated as
if it were a 1378KBPS compressed file.
