Hi all, This is probably common knowledge, but I figured I'd put this up there. If you're recording in Gold Wave from the line in, but you really don't want to monitor the input, say if your friend gives you a tape he wants converted but the music isn't to your taste and you have other things to do, you can, in the Windows volume control, check the mute box in line in playback. GW will still record, which is excellent.
