What version of Winamp are you using?  The latest versions will play WMA or
Windowsmedia files.  When I installed Winamp, I told it to play all
filetypes it is capable of playing.  And I have Winamp set as my default
player.  So most of the time when a Windowsmedia file comes up, Winamp will
play it.  So far I have found one instance where it would work and I had to
open Windowsmedia to play the file.
