Hi Keith.

Not really sure if you are being supportive orsarcastic mate. The reason
why I'm surprised that I have not resolved this problem via the PC Audio
list is because, this list is probably the best source of support for
computing based audio systems, that I know of, and if I cannot get help from
this list, then I'm not really likely to get it at all. In any case, what
is this list for if not to assist other blind and visually impaired
computer/audio enthusiasts? Okay, I can drop a message to the manufacturer,
but what do they know about visual impairment and access technology?

Best wishes.

Hi again Steven.

Thanks for the information regarding Sony. I'll try and find out if there
is still a Sony Centre in my area and give them a call today.

Regarding the soundcard. I think that I will need to write to the support
service as I'm not getting anywhere with this question. I really thought
that the PC Audio list would have come up with an answer for me, but not
getting anything from that end either.

Thanks again.

Best wishes.

sorry Andy

but my amp wasn't cheap, to me at least. It's a sony audio video amp which
is now discontinued, but sony still produce amps with an optical
input/output, but they are over £300.

however the sony sales are on at the moment so you may get a bit off that
price. sorry I can't help on how to change the soundblaster from an output
to an input, but why not email their technical support for a step by step
guide?

regards

steve green.
