hi billy, as someone who makesbacking tracks for singers and who is totally blind i would suggest that your friend decides what material he is going to sing, then choose a number of songs learn the lyrics, listen to the original and sing along with it, the secret of good singing with karioke or backing tracks is to know your song, ok, in karioke the lyrics come up on the screen, but that's no good to your friend, he must learn the lyrics, once he is familiar with the lyrics he will be more than halfway there, it takes practise, but it works, if i can help any further come back to me off list, incidentally, i am also a true blue, i'm an evertonian, regards from ireland, travel safely, joe.
