Hi Stephen.

No, I'm playing JAWS through my original computer sound card and speakers,
and all my audio media comes through the new external sound card. This is
quite handy as I can listen to music whilst doing something else on the
computer.

Andy

Hi again Stephen.

I have the Creative SoundBlaster Live, 24 bit external card.

This card has two optical out's and a line in, but no optical line in.

It's quite a nice device and I have Creative 5.1 speakers to go with it.
I
think it cost about £80.00

Best wishes.
Andy
