I would like to remove an effect that was assigned to a sound file using Goldwave. Is there a way to see what effects are assigned to a file and/or a way to remove the effects? I am not referring to the undo feature, but rather how to modify a file when undo is not an option (after the file has been saved).

Subject: Re: previewing a deletion with GoldWave Unfortunately, what I suspected is indeed the case. Let's say you want to delete a six-second section beginning at 5 minutes into your sound file. You set the markers, but want to preview to see what the finished product will sound like. If you use the unselected setting for either of the play controls, you will hear all the sound starting at the beginning, then finally skipping your selected six seconds and going on to the end. Not desirable, and a definite limitation of the program as far as I'm concerned. Of course I can work around it but don't like it a lot.
