What I just told you came from a friend who is about to upgrade his
machine so I'll pass on more details as I get them as I want to do
the upgrading to my machine too before disposing of it however I
posted what I knew to the list so that listers could perhaps do some
searching or commenting on what I've written, perhaps other listers
have already done this upgrade.
No software is required, the drives and the batteries are easily
changed.

Subject: The Iriver h340

Hi!
I'm sure that this will interest those of you who own an Iriver H340
jukebox, I'm told that the hard drive can easily be upgraded from a
40 gig
to an 80 gig, the battery capacity can also be increased and thus the
new
capacity can be reflected in Rockbox if you use it by changing the
battery
setting in the system options.
I'm told that both battery and hard drive can be easily changed by
those who
have a little technical knowledge so people may wish to look into this
further.
