In Gold Wave F5 goes to the end of the file then starts to play it in reverse. You can then press F6 to pause, press F6 again and the file will start to play at that position. If you want to continue going backward press F5 and the file will continue to play in reverse. You can adjust the speed of the reverse playback speed.
