Samuel, This needn't be too complicated. What will happen is this: 1.You can launch the installer. 2.Everything will be installed, apart from versions of programs/drivers which are older than the ones you have. You'll get a question about these, and my best advice is to not re-install these. 3.Eventually, and being creative it is very eventually, you will be asked to reboot. 4.Window eyes should still pick up your sound drivers. One warning, whatever you do, don't install the remote control. This really messes things up, and you will not get any speech. I tried doing this, and fortunately, I had sighted help, and was able to disable it from starting up. In a nutshell, you should not encounter any problems. You've been using the sound card for window eyes anyway, and unless you are planning to install a new one, your screenreader will think nothing has changed. Hope this helps,
