I am using Goldwave 5.18 On Windows XP SP2 Home. My sound device is an M-Audio Delta 66 driver version 5.10.00.026. when I create a new file and stop the first segment of recording, all sound on the computer is lost. I can exit the goldwave program and sound returns and all is fine. I then can re-open the same file I started with and continue recording and all works fine. The problem is that I can't create a new file without the sound disappearing after the first time I try to record in the file. any help would be greatly appreciated!
