The ORB 2.00.0867 software is a big improvement from waht I saw
6-9 months ago. The alternate log in URL that was posted on this
list is excellent and accessible even though it was made for
mobile,notebook access.

I have only checked the TV part so far. I can tune to my
satellite box remotely but only to the channel the satellite box
is tuned to.

I don't have a IR Blaster here.

I am using a Hauppauge WinTV 150 PCI card. I got the drivers
only for the card. I only installed the drivers and no other
software like Win2k and the rest.

I am communicating with ORB tech support to see if I can use a
USB-UIRT device in order to control my satellite box with the
ORB software.

The device is known as a universal infrared receiver
transmitter.

You can record and watch tv with ORB's TV area.

The above observations are only mine. Go to the ORB site:

http://www.orb.com

Read the FAQS and so on. The list system requirements and cards
they support.

You can access your files remotely using the file browser.

The only area ORB needs to do some work is within its
Configuration wizard which is located within the system tray
area. I have to use the jaws cursor.

The TV setup radio buttons aren't too good but composite radio
button is choice 5 of 6 just in case you try it yourself.

That is all for now.
