Thanks for the useful information. I must ask, what is a 'FM Repeater'?
I think Sirius's site had this model for $100 off. Does anyone know if the 
Strtus has audible feedback? I think that is the portable model.

I currently get Sirius music channels via dishNetwork Satellite system, but 
I'm a talk radio junky and miss Stern in the mornings...

while i respect toms comments, i would like to clarify a few things
1. the stileto is available at most major electronics retailors.
2. Xm in major cities is using many ground fm repeaters which violate fcc
repeator regulations.
3. The murger would not effect the end user for nearly 5 years.


and in order to keep rellivance let me point out that the sirius  web player
is also quite useable
