Hello, if you want to use the normalization feature in SF, you would select those parts which are lower than the rest, and normalize those one by one. I should add a statement that the noise will spike up louder and drop lower, and will not be smooth between transitions. If you ever are dealing with live concert material, never normalize talking portions or bring down applause. Always normalize the whole show as one piece.
