I'm copying a folder of music, one album, to a new SD 2 gig card. I wonder why it takes so long. The folder is about 234 MB and is taking about 9 minutes. Not only that but the folder I'm copying from is unavailable while the computer is copying using the copy to folder feature in the edit menu of Windows Explorer.
Are SD cards normally this slow? Is there a better way to transfer music files to portable devices? Copy and paste is just as slow and not so easy to pick and choose what to transfer.
