Hi!
Well Grifin Technology seem to have done it again, some listers may
remember the discussion we had on the wonderful Imic device this
company released some time back, since then the Imic has undergone a
few revisions. Now the Radio Shark 2 has come to my attention. Its an
am/fm radio that plugs into a USB port on your computer, the radio is
controlled by software and the supplied software is able to allow
"time shifting"..
Suppose for example you're listening to the Radio Shark through your
computer and the phone rings, you can then pause your listening and
resume from where you left off when you finish the phone call.
Now I'm seriously thinking of getting one of these things but I'm
wondering before I take the plunge, has anyone been more courageous
than I am and actually bought and tried one? If you have then what
did you think of it, was reception reasonable? Was the software
accessible? This isn't a concern from my point of view as I use an
Imac computer and I have software which is accessible here in the
form of Audio Hijack Pro which could control the radio Shark if need be.
Finally, are there any similar devices anyone knows of out there.
