Hi,

Do you know if there's any Window-eyes users on that group list that's using
this type of software successfully?

Hi, Dane:

This is technically the wrong list for you to get these kinds of
answers, although I'm sure some will be or already have been
forthcoming. You really want to be on the "MIDI-MAG" list at
[EMAIL PROTECTED] I believe is the correct
address to subscribe. And yes, I should say, keyboards, not to
mention sequencing software, has changed a lot in twelve years!
State-of-the-art software is, of course, Sonar and the CakeTalking
scripts from David Pinto/Dancing Dots. SOTA keyboards, I couldn't
even begin to tell you, it's largely a matter of what kinds of sounds
you like, and what hardware you can get to make them. Some folks live
on softsynths or soundfonts alone and just use a controller (no
sounds) to play them. Come on over to the MIDI-MAG group and ask your
question there, I'm sure you'll get a gazillion replies.
