Without knowing the full extent of your system it sounds like something
in your video stack has gone corrupt, depending on the version of jaws
you're using, a repair might fix it.

Subject: probolem with jaws

I am having a problem with Jaws. Sometimes it has a tendency to stop
working, and will say blank when there is a document that has been
loaded.
What is causing this problem? Could it be a lack of memory that is
causing jaws to fail? I hope that some of the techies on the list just
might have a solution to this problem.
