You can't do it with your wireless keyboard because it's hardwired, or firmware-wired, anyway, to blink the lights in preprogrammed sequences as per the specification for wireless keyboards. There are, however, devices to do what you want to do that you connect to the RS232 port on the computer. I have one here. I forget what it's called, but I got it from SmartHome and it's actually pretty cool. It has three LED's on the front, presumably a red, a green and a blue one, but I don't know that for sure, it's got some software you load onto the computer for controlling the thing, and, get this, it has a light sensing capability to learn how remotes talk to devices, so you can "train" the thing to emulate whatever remote you have in your house. The device I have also came with something they call an IR Blaster, which is apparently a brighter version of the front-panel LED's that you can plug into the base unit and stretch out on a cable to locate it closer to your receiving station. Like I said, I don't remember the name of the thing, but if you poke around www.smarthome.com, I'm sure you'll find it or something even better.
