Hi!
Both my sighted wife and I have been unsuccessful in getting the hp A1560n
xp media center to record anything except for dead air using both Audacity
and MP3 Directcut.
We've gone into sndvol32 and played with what we believe to be the
recorder settings.
Playback is otherwise fine..
Is there any software out there (either free, shareware or commercial)
that can go in and tweek things to permit audio to be recorded.
Incidentally, lame_enc.dll is in both program files for Audacity and
Mp3directcut so we believe that the problem lies with the master sndvol32
settings for recording.
Any help would be appreciated in either how to do the tweeking ourselves
or finding software that can deal with this.
