people used to use many of the Iriver player-recorders. I am not familiar with any of them, but the muvo recorders from creative are mostly inaccessible to blind people. a scroll wheel is used to access the menus. since they don't beep, you don't know where you are! I was quite disappointed because they are small enough to fit into a pocket. they use a sub-miniature jack for the line in jack too.
