You are missing my point. Yes, you *should* tell the author what is wrong with the program, but just calling the program names and saying the author doesn't care about bugs in a forum he won't read is hardly constructive criticism. Only one of us is denying that the issues you point out exist (it's not me); all right, great, let the developer know what your concerns are, do so respectfully, and something may be done. Personally, the ability to work with DVD's, the ability to burn data CD's/DVD's regardless of the file type, and the ability to burn from ISO images have been absolutely wonderful features, and I'm sure the other problems will get solved. Your washing machine example doesn't, pardon the pun, hold water, because with a washing machine, if a new model comes out you pay for the whole machine, you don't get the new model for free.
