Hi. I'm having problems with gold wave. When I run it, it causes dinging noises to be played when I play a sound. I'm using jaws 9.0. I have the scripts 1.56 or something like that. They have support for zoom level which doesn't seam to work very well. They are very sluggish and always want to say no file is selected when I do something like copy the selection, or say no sound in clipboard when I go to paste, when there actually was a sound. In addition gold wave's text interfeers with all other open programs when gold wave is running and after I close it until I close jaws. Also it seams to be messing up edit fields like the subject edit field in outlook express aven after that until a reboot, across multiple jaws restarts. It is very close to impossible to use gold wave on this xp laptop, and the same seams to be happening even without the scripts or with jaws8 running. Any ideas? I don't think gold wave on my vista laptop does this.
