Oh, I thought he was very nice, no need for snarfing. And yes, I did read the whole message. I just wanted to be clear what it is we're doing here. Remixing implies one has all the subcomponent parts of a piece--the drum track, the keyboard(s) track(s), the horn(s), guitar(s), you name it, all separate. I don't know the technical term for what it is you're after, but I understand what it is you want to do now. Just about any good wave editor--Sound Forge, Gold Wave, etc.--would do the job. I don't know enough about Studio Recorder to say yea or nay to whether it's up to the task, but if you can edit, cut and paste with it down to the sample level, then it will do the job, too. -- Steve Matzura Experience for Sale or Rent By the Hour <ha ha> Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
