Hello Norma, Your problem has a simple solution to it. First, go in to control panel. Then scroll down to sounds and audio devices. Shift tab over to sounds tab. Scroll up to the windows default setting then press inter on it. And then tab over to the ok button, and you are all sat! I hope this helps you get your windows sounds back.
