Hi Josh, I've used audacity 1.2.6, but haven't had that problem. You could try the latest version, 1.3.4 which is reasonalby stable despite being in beta, and is more accessible.
There a reverb efffect called Gverb which is available from the Effect menu. There's some documentation on Gverb here: http://audacityteam.org/wiki/index.php?title=GVerb Note that Gverb is included in 1.3.4 (and 1.2.6 I think) so you don't have to install it yourself. David. original message: Hi, I have the latest stable version of the audacity sound editor. I'm running xp pro on 512mb of ram and a 2.0ghz single processor. Whenever I close audacity I always get a program error and I don't know why. I always send the error reports though. Is there a fix for this, or maybe I should go back to GoldWave? Also, are there presets for audacity like if I want to make myself sound like I'm talking in a football statdium? I know that sound forge had presets like that.
