Hi List, I have a question regarding meta tags in mp3 files. What is the logic to have all that information such as artist and title embedded in the files when artist and title are present in the standard artist and title ei: the file's name? I'm just curious. I would think that with the information in the file names the tag data would be unnecessary and it would make things simpler with out all those tagging issues etc. This is just one of those questions I am rather academically curious about. Can anyone scratch this itch?
