It works!!! After setting up a recording on the DirecTV website I recieved a
confirmation email. See below. The key is to find a DVR box that is supported
by this tv scheduler and learn how to navigate with the remote control to find
the recorded shows on the hard drive of your DVR box. I have a DSR 700 series
from Philips but these boxes have been discontinued. Look at eBay.
There is a dealer in California that may sell such boxes still and you activate
them with DirecTV.
