Tonight we have been listening to The Oldies Project from London found at
<http://oldies[project.com> .
I was getting ready to leave the site when I noticed the following message
on the site page, which I have pasted below. Because I'm using plain text
for composing messages, links in this message will not show up as such in
the pasted data.

The OldiesProject broadcast is encoded in MP3PRO stereo mode for superb
audio quality.
'The Next generation MP3' as geeks call it. To experience the MP3PRO mode
you need
WinAmp and a MP3PRO plugin. You'll find it
here
. <link shown on page>

Just download the plugin installer to your harddrive, install, reboot WinAmp
and
click the WinAmp logo on this site again.
The default install of the MP3PRO plugin for WinAmp disables the 'Now
Playing' option
in Winamp. Just open WinAmp, go to Preferences (cntrl+p) and look for the
section
'Input Plugins'. There you'll find the Thompson MP3PRO plugin. Just double
click
to open the optionbox and enable Title Streaming.
If you need any help just 'google' around or send us an
e-mail
.

This seems clear enough; but I'm wondering whether there are any conflicts
between this Thompson plugin and screen readers. I seem to recall a problem
between a Thompson plugin and Winamp several years ago, and don't want to
make a mistake here.

Thanks for any help.

Pam
