how about muting the playback of the sound card i could do that in the other
card i used to use and that worked great for me

I am trying to digitize 4 cassette tapes. However, I have to sit and listen
to it while this is happening. This is very annoying, especially if I'm
trying to get on with work. Is there a way to digitize the tape without
having to listen to it? I am using a Sound Blaster Audigy 2ZS, Goldwave
5.25 and the cassette machine is plugged into the line-in on my soundcard.
