Marsha,

you can control volumes or mute the volume of an item under the Windows Control Panel in XP under the "Speech" tab. But I'm not sure what you are saying about your headset.

Hi
I am going to try this again. Is there a way to enable or disable a
headset without physicallllllly unplugging it from the computer? The reason
I am asking this is because the puck has a rather tenuous wiring system,
even though it is a very good headset. Thanks in advance.

Marsha
