Hi. Another thing you can do, if this hasn't been mentioned already,
is when you first install Skype 4.0, the menu bar will be there, but
your screenreader will not be able to read it easily. But we'll
change this by first hitting alt plus t for tools, and o for
options. In the general settings, change the radio button that says
skype, to classic windows. In other words, you'll see a radio button
that says, skype radio button checked, 1 of 2. change that so it
says classic windows radio button checked, 2 of 2. Also, both
screenreaders, those being JAWS and Window-eyes have scripts that
come highly recommended for making the contact list a lot more easy to use.

Hello. I have limited experience using Skype, but have experimented
with this increasingly over the last few months.
I use Skype 4.0 with JFW 10 and have found that with the third party
scripts it is simple to modify settings, to search for and add
contacts, etc. I have also found that this is quite doable when I
choose to use refreshable Braille exclusively as my method of reading
the screen.
