Posing a question I fear won't get much response but it's prompted by Neal
Ewers' latest Podcast on BCT re. the Zoom H4n, I think it is called.

He remarked that this recorder can mark files during recording (and
playback) and that the marks appear in Sound Forge and other audio editors. 
That's very useful, but I wonder, does any other portable field recorder do
this?

Only mention I've seen coming near to this is Marantz saying that markers
inserted into recordings on some of their recorders  can be recognized by
software you supposedly can download from their website - though I've never
seen it.

So, any other maker doing this trick?
