All you need to do, is to switch to a different output. It's in the
preferences, under the output item in the tree view.

Thanks for your help. I discovered that the program had become corrupted
by some winamp disc writer plugin which kept popping up and would not be
deleted. I finally wound up unstalling that version of the program for a
newer one.

types. Also I check the box to run winamp when inserting an audio cd.
