Actually I have a good ear and have no trouble learning the music. We are
switching worship leaders and I will need to help distribute chord sheets to
the musicians. I'd rather not do it by hand if necessary because I find
placing the chords above the words to be quite tedious to say the least.
There are quite a few free resources for finding chord charts, but they are
becoming fewer and fewer as the publishers crack down on this practice. No
big deal if the site isn't useable by me, but it would be nice if it was.
Thanks for the help, though. Any tips for efficiently typing up chord sheets
would be helpful, although we are quickly straying off topic so I expect
off-list discussion would be best.

I used to use CCLI when it was loaded on ones computer. Haven't used
the web version.
Are you the one that is going to distribute the chord sheets and set up
the media projecting? If so, I think it can get a bit complicated for
you...But not to say it is impossible! This would depend on your level
of progress with computer programs and speech software.
As far as playing keyboard in church, most worship music is quite easy
to learn. Unlike the hymns, most songs now a days have just a few
chords and if you have an ear for music, should be easy for you.
I lead worship in my church and we do a great amount of the modern
worship songs, and I don't have any problem with them. I play guitar
and piano depending on the song. I have to give chord charts to the
rest of the musicians, but I memorize both words and chord progressions.
Right now I'm leading the faster choruses from the drums and the worship
choruses from either keyboard or acoustic guitar.
